Mostly of a personal and social nature, thanking him for his letters and the pleasure and comfort they give him, asking him not to address Rossini as "senateur"--he is not a "senatore," but was once a "suonatore"--, thanking Count Cesare for the wine, which arrived in perfect condition, saying his agent Gaetano Fabi is having 50 bottles of "Schampugne" sent for the Mattei family, mentioning Angelo Mignani, etc.
